The announcement and store wording describe the arsenal; GamesDB counts its own entries; our numbers count map markers from the All Things How snapshot. These units are not interchangeable. A broader lower bound and a specific announcement can coexist. Different lists may also handle transformed equipment differently; do not add these figures into an official total or a completion percentage.

Weapons, abilities or exploration tools?
Phantom Edges is S-GAME's name for the secondary weapon category. Their role complements the main weapon you use for regular attacks. The category includes different kinds of utility; it should not be treated as another name for the primary arsenal.
When comparing equipment, ask what the particular Edge does in combat and whether it has an exploration interaction. Do not assume every Edge supplies the same attack, resource behavior or traversal ability.
New equipment can help open old paths
In the October 8 developer Q&A, S-GAME explains that newly acquired main and secondary weapons can open previously blocked routes. This supports returning to areas after obtaining equipment; it does not establish a universal Edge-to-obstacle table.
If a route is blocked, note the obstacle and nearby landmark, then return when you have a relevant ability. Check the game's interaction prompt before assuming an item must be equipped or that its use is free. Combat costs and exploration interactions should be checked separately.
An inaccessible path is not automatically a permanently missed reward. Conversely, a general backtracking feature does not guarantee every quest remains available after story progression. The missables guide covers reported timing risks without promising a spoiler-free route to every ending.
Boss rewards, quests and exploration finds
Community directories group Phantom Edges under different acquisition methods, including encounter rewards and quest-related unlocks. Arriving at a pin, defeating an enemy and receiving the usable equipment are separate steps; some reports describe an additional hand-in or repair.
Use the homepage map's Phantom Edges category and search to find currently indexed leads. For boss-related equipment, consult the Boss index too. Read the source and prerequisites before following a route. Neither this overview nor the map promises every Edge location.
Our existing map displays All Things How community reports. Their game version and platform applicability remain unknown; displaying them does not turn them into our own gameplay verification. Missing equipment and conflicting directions should stay unresolved until there is matching evidence.
Upgrading and resetting a Phantom Edge
All Things How reports a separate upgrade-material track for Phantom Edges and distinguishes Phantom Reforge Talismans from Weapon Reforge Talismans. Do not copy the main-weapon material recipe or reset item into a secondary-equipment plan.
The level-10 refund caveat discussed on the primary-weapons page is not a verified universal rule for Phantom Edges. Check the selected Edge's level, required materials and reset confirmation. This site has not independently verified every cost or refund on each platform and patch.
An Edge checklist is not game completion
Checking all currently indexed Edge markers means you have marked those map entries. It does not inspect your inventory or establish 100%, platinum or the True Ending. A community directory, a map category and the equipment in your save can have different coverage.
Keep a note of any unresolved reward or quest requirement even after visiting a marker. Use the collectibles overview to understand the broader categories; use the homepage map for navigation. This page stays an equipment explanation rather than a second map or a full verified database.
Frequently asked questions
How many Phantom Edges are there?
S-GAME's August announcement specifies 25, Steam says more than 20, and GamesDB lists 24. These source-qualified figures use different scopes; none is this site's verified completion denominator.
Where is the Phantom Edges interactive map?
On the homepage. Use its area selector, Phantom Edges category and search. This overview explains the equipment system and links to that existing map.
Can Phantom Edges unlock exploration routes?
The developer Q&A describes new main and secondary equipment opening blocked routes. It does not mean every Edge opens every obstacle or verifies an individual unlock condition.
Do Phantom Edges use kill energy or the same resource?
Do not infer a universal resource rule from the category name. Check the selected item's combat description and any separate exploration prompt; this overview does not verify every Edge's cost or recharge behavior.
Can I use a Weapon Reforge Talisman on an Edge?
All Things How distinguishes a Phantom Reforge Talisman for Edges from the primary-weapon item. Follow the reset screen for the selected equipment instead of assuming the two are interchangeable.
Is this a complete database or a 100% checklist?
No. It is a sourced overview with a count of currently indexed community map entries. Marking those entries does not verify all equipment, platinum or the True Ending.
